I finally finished Dark Souls! Beat the game at about Level 95 after 44 hours. At the end, I was rocking a Lightning Halberd+5 with 40 dexterity and the Ornstein armor set. I’m a bit disappointed the game immediately kicks you into New Game+ instead of letting me do more PvP in the final area, but damn, NG+ seems wonderful so far! It’s rather refreshing to simply plow through everything mercilessly.

Pictured above are my favorite bosses in the game. I also really dug the Four Kings, but couldn’t find a good picture of them. Ornstein and Smough were great as well.

The final area also floored me. Dark Souls is full of gorgeous, incredibly well designed, memorable areas to explore, but Kiln of the First Flame really knocked me on my ass with its beauty. Bravo, From Software. I eagerly await the next Souls game.

And I can say with a satisfying sense of smugness that I finished the game without ever being cursed.
